HOW DO WE EAT

The concept of healthy food is either misconception or myths.

Who do we put in charge of our metabolism?

Infestation of nutritionists! How many professionals there are and how much they are trained in food courses, how moderate we are, diets, starvation, or overeating….

The question is how far we can go with our nutrition.

Do we believe in science, or we believe in social networks?

I believe in myself and my body which is clearly telling me what to eat, when to stop, what to do when it is very difficult to adopt to the information for food processing taking the fact my sociology-cultural childhood habits, eating fast, consuming high-calorie beverages.

The young population is subjected to various diets, which is a devastating fact of how we live.

In recent years, awareness has been raised, exercise has been done, much has been read about sweets, and sugary foods have been avoided. Healthy foods are not just vitamins and minerals, organic foods, or the like. Awareness is raised from the age of 1 or 2 onward, not at the age of 20 when habits are already in place.

There is always addiction, but not in favor of blindly following the internet and influencers dictating certain diets with interesting names.

Healthy food is a way of life, it is not a renunciation of certain habits and eradication of a passed down for generations.

It is perfectly fine to eat autochthonously, but it is obligatory to pay attention to the food products and to read their composition. There is a trend of long heat treatment regime, and we need vitamins. Not fresh but blanched food is best. Let's not rely only on social media and various orders of regimes that have a high cost.

Professionally, very few professionals really know the food, and there are a growing number of restaurants where we can get "urticaria" from thermally untreated fish.

Food is not a fad, we do not always have to blindly believe in marketing as a product background, and manufacturers must make sure that the product is safe. Food exports are what we are known for in the region. Not everyone in Macedonia eats the same, but generally cannot afford expensive restaurants and expensive healthy products. This is a topic on which we must all think carefully about whom we trust. I would say believe in yourself and read anabolism and catabolism or just listen to what your body tells you. That way we will know best how to eat, and we as a country still have a lot of work to do to train people who will direct us to the topic of healthy food and nutrition.
